“How much should I buy to start?”
Nothing, if physical gold is not right for you. If it is, we will talk through options at a level you are comfortable with. There is no minimum that Hartco requires you to meet.
“Does Hartco help me sell?”
Yes. We can discuss selling routes for physical gold you hold. Any purchase price is confirmed at the time and is not a guaranteed buy-back at a fixed premium.
“What is graded gold?”
A coin independently examined for authenticity and condition by a recognised service such as NGC or PCGS, then sealed in a tamper-evident holder with a certification number you can check.
“Why are some gold coins graded?”
Grading records condition on a recognised scale and confirms authenticity. It helps you know what you are buying before you commit. It does not guarantee a future price.
“What makes one coin different from another?”
Metal content, mint, year, finish (for example proof or matte) and grade. A Sovereign and a Britannia are different coins; an MS-70 and a lower grade of the same type are different conditions of that coin.
“Can I buy individual coins?”
Yes. We source to a specific requirement — a single coin, a date, a grade — and confirm what can actually be sourced before you decide.
“Do I need previous experience?”
No. Our team can explain the options and answer questions at a pace that suits you.
“How does delivery work?”
UK delivery is insured, tracked and made to a named recipient. Nothing is dispatched until the coin, the grade and the price are agreed. Collection can be arranged.
“Can I speak to someone before buying?”
Yes. An enquiry is not a commitment to buy or to sell. Choose a day for us to call, or write to hello@hartcoaurum.co.uk.
“What happens after I enquire?”
A member of the team responds personally, confirms what can be sourced or reviewed, and agrees next steps with you. Nothing proceeds until you confirm.
“Can I sell gold I didn't originally buy from Hartco?”
Yes, subject to assessment. Tell us what you hold. Identity, provenance and settlement terms apply.
“Do you buy gold back?”
Hartco may purchase gold from clients who wish to sell. Any purchase price is confirmed at the time. It is not a guaranteed buy-back at a fixed premium.
“Do you sell gold bars?”
No. Hartco Aurum sources graded gold coins and recognised gold coins. We do not sell gold bars.
“Do you source watches?”
Yes. We advise on and source luxury and rare watches for private clients, by enquiry. We do not list a watch as in stock unless it is available.
