Authenticity & Grading
1. Genuine and authenticated coins
We specialise in the sourcing of genuine, authenticated gold coins. Each coin is described by reference to its type, year, country, denomination, fineness and weight, and we take care to ensure the description matches the coin supplied.
2. Third-party grading
Where a coin is described as graded, it has been independently assessed for authenticity and condition by a recognised third-party grading service, such as PCGS or NGC, before it is offered to you.
3. Certification numbers
Graded coins are sealed in tamper-evident holders with a unique certification number. The certification number can be checked against the grading service's registry. We will confirm the certification number for your specific coin at the time of enquiry or order.
4. Condition
Condition is expressed on the grading service's recognised scale. You know the condition of the coin before you commit.
5. Provenance and product information
We provide the product information relevant to each coin — type, year, country, denomination, fineness, weight, mint, grading company, grade and certification number where applicable. Where specific provenance information is available and relevant, we will share it.
6. Product photography
Photographs are illustrative and may show a representative example. The specific item, its condition and its certification are described in the order confirmation.
Important: Hartco Aurum does not guarantee future resale prices, appreciation or investment returns. The value of a coin can fall as well as rise. Hartco Aurum does not provide financial or investment advice.
